So much has been written lately about the low carb keto diet and it caught my eye a few years ago. I went on the low carb diet on November 2018, and have lost 11 kilos since. Never felt better! So, here is an example of one of my once-per-day meals (I also fast for at least 16 hours/day): easy keto/low carb sausage, cheese, avocado and vegetables meal. It is ready in a under 10 minutes and it takes no effort whatsoever.

This a 9 ingredient low carb meal idea. However, you can add or subtract ingredients as you wish. Keep in mind, though, that greens, meat (fat fish included) and cheese are keto friendly and they are highly recommended on any low carb diet.
1/2 cup Polish kielbasa sausage boiled and sliced
2 tbsp pressed/Cheddar cheese diced
1/2 green bell pepper sliced
1/2 avocado sliced
1/2 tomato chopped
1 tbsp green onion chopped
1 tbsp parsley chopped
1 tsp Dijon mustard
2 tbsp mayonnaise
- boil the Polish sausages
- slice, dice and chop all ingredients
- plate nicely
- serve with Dijon mustard and mayonnaise
- Serve immediately with mayonnaise and Dijon mustard. You can also add some hot sauce.
- The calorie value for one serving is an estimate based on an online nutrition calculator. However, it depends on the ingredients you use.
